When my mother-in-law was teaching high school, she always had trouble with getting some of the kids to read books.
Then she learned to put up the list of banned books in her classroom, and suddenly everyone wanted to read them!
She's a smart lady.
When I met your mom, I realized right away how cool she is.
Oops, I just realized you were referring to JAN'S mom -- who is also cool, needless to say. What an embarrassment of coolness riches there is in your family!
I don't think my mom ever resorted to the banned book list. But you're right; we are very much blessed with coolness.
