It's what the Doctor (from the show Doctor Who -- just so you never, ever embarrass yourself in front of geeks, it's important to remember that his NAME is NOT "Doctor Who") gets around in. Time And Relative Dimension In Space. Otherwise known as the Big Cosmic Tub of Body Putty For Plot Holes.
