JAQUES
O worthy fool!
...in his brain,
Which is as dry as the remainder biscuit
After a voyage, he hath strange places cramm'd
With observation, the which he vents
In mangled forms. O that I were a fool!
I am ambitious for a motley coat.

Alas, it is not actually my birthday. But my half-birthday is coming up (and so, by extension, is yours).
ROCK ON!!!! YAY YOU!!!!
So what are you plans now? You gonna polish and submit this sucker?
It's going to sit and age for a while, and then I will polish/rewrite, do up the query package (synopsis, chapter outline, cover letter) and start querying agents. So far the first novel is striking out all over the world, but who knows? Maybe this one will fare better.
And isn't that feeling of relief as you type the last word unbelievable. Congratulations. I know just how hard it is to get this far.
