O worthy fool!

In mangled forms. O that I were a fool!
I am ambitious for a motley coat.
Did y'all know the Staten Island Ferry is FREE? A lovely outing on New York Harbor, a good (albeit not close-up) look at Ellis and Liberty islands, and the chance to marvel at a ferry boat that is an absolute BARN THAT FLOATS -- all for exactly US$0!

I was blown away this week by the fact that you can ride the NY subway anywhere for $2. That's so simple, it's wonderful. So we rode it all over town. Had a blast.
Didn't make it out to the ferry, though.
Sorry we couldn't actually intersect in NY -- just that little bit too dicey.
But, yeah, I'd forgotten about the $2-anywhere system, and it was a very nice thing to rediscover. AND you only need your farecard to get IN, which makes getting OUT a lot simpler.
